40 years of Meister Strömungstechnik means a year full of celebrations, and on Friday June 28 it was time for us to go on a great two-day trip with all employees – to the beautiful lake Brombachsee. The weather gave us a real summer holiday feeling right from the start. After presenting a gift from the team to the owners, where the flow monitor theme naturally played a major role, we all got on a bus from Staab Reisen in Laufach to have a leisurely breakfast together at our first stop. Breakfast was in the enchanting medieval Rothenburg-ob-der-Tauber. Brothaus Schlachthof has a really great atmosphere and a large, delicious breakfast. If you're in such a beautiful city, you should make the most of it, so afterwards we went on a walk through the centuries old city center. We then moved on to Lake Brombachsee at Familygolf - Leisure Experience in Pleinsfeld - to play mini golf. There we had such a fun time – it was only occasionally frustrating (at the 15th stroke or so…). Overnight, we stayed at beautiful Strandhotel Seehof, located directly on the lake shore. There was something to enjoy for everyone. At the end of the day, we spent a wonderful time gathering on the hotel patio until (way too late) into the night, one of the first warm summer evenings of the year.
On Saturday, after having breakfast together, we had the opportunity to visit the only municipal brewery in Germany, Spalter Bier. We were passionately explained all the ins and outs of slow brewing Spalter beer, followed by a beer tasting, of course. The last highlight was a wonderful boat trip with, good food and drinks, cruising picturesque Lake Brombach. This was a fantastic 2-day team event and a trip to remember!
